Fatima is the Communications Manager at SV@Home; she leads strategic communications to advance the organization’s policy, advocacy, and educational efforts to create a more equitable Silicon Valley. She is proud to have supported the efforts surrounding preserving Measure E for affordable housing, which involved a great deal of community advocacy and organizing and ultimately resulted in a big win for our community. Before joining SV@Home, she worked at Downtown Streets Team, creating a vibrant and dynamic digital presence to support the organization’s mission to end homelessness. Fatima earned a BA in Psychology and Race & Ethnic Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University. In her free time, you can find her exploring all there is to see in California and spending time with her family, especially her baby nieces.
