Fatima is a multimedia storyteller committed to amplifying the needs and voices of marginalized communities. As the proud daughter of Salvadoran immigrants, she is committed to the idea of home as an inalienable element of social justice and the foundation of inclusive communities. She believes that advocacy and collaborative partnerships are key to solving the housing crisis facing the state. Prior to joining SV@Home, she worked at Downtown Streets Team where she created a vibrant and dynamic digital presence in support of the organization’s mission to end homelessness.
Fatima earned a BA in Psychology and Race & Ethnic Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University. In her free time, you can find her exploring all there is to see in California, spending time with friends and family, watching her favorite tv shows or scrolling through TikTok
