Javier leads Google’s government relations and public affairs efforts for Silicon Valley. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in government, campaigns, and legislation in the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley and Sacramento regions. Previously, Javier served on the United States Commission on Civil Rights’ California State Advisory Committee. Last year, Governor Brown recommended Javier to serve as a member of the Selective Service System local board.
A native of Santa Clara Valley, Javier attended local schools including Santa Clara University. On weekends, Javier enjoys volunteering, Crossfit, running and spending time with family and friends.
