Affordable Housing Month 2025

There is strength in coming together. There is strength in community. There is #StrengthInHousing.

In Affordable Housing Month 2025 in Santa Clara County, we come together to renew and revitalize our commitments to affordable housing and housing justice. We come together to renew and revitalize our collective commitments to uplift our communities and to make sure everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable home. It is up to us to build the community that we want to see.

This Affordable Housing Month, our programming will reinforce our resilience, our diversity, our creativity, and our sheer drive to implement local solutions. Join us in uplifting our collective #StrengthInHousing!

Developer Resources for ICE Actions: Know your rights, be prepared

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers making an arrest. Richard Drew/AP

Since the advent of the new federal administration, we have seen an increase in local activity by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It is important for affordable housing developers and other community-serving organizations to have protocols in place in the event of an interaction with ICE, and to provide training for staff and residents on rights and responsibilities in the event of an interaction with ICE.

At SV@Home, we are committed to providing developers with the resources necessary to effectively train staff on how to respond to potential ICE raids. We also share materials to inform tenants about their rights to ensure their protection and empower communities. Connect with resources to know your rights and help you prepare.
