Charities Housing is working to transform a vacant lot into a 100% affordable project at 551 Keyes St in San Jose, which will bring 78 affordable units near downtown. On-site services and amenities will include a Community Room available to the public, gardens and common areas, private storage, auto and bicycle parking, laundry and resident services. Half of the units will be reserved for Santa Clara County’s Rapid Rehousing program.

The project meets current zoning requirements and has been submitted for SB 35 expedited review processing and has also applied for Measure A consideration.
