The Bay Area is one of the most expensive housing markets in the country but, unfortunately, a surplus of policy recommendations, new construction methods, progressive leadership, the COVID-19 pandemic, calls for greater equity and an acceleration in housing production over the past decade haven’t moved the needle to any considerable degree.
