The Housing Needs of Undocumented Residents

JOIN US VIRTUALLY ON FRIDAY, JULY 25TH 12PM

Undocumented immigrants face unique and often invisible barriers to housing—exclusion from federal programs, fear of retaliation, and discriminatory screening practices.

Join us for a timely conversation on how we can break down these barriers and advance housing solutions that include everyone—regardless of immigration status.

We’ll explore:
– Why undocumented immigrants are excluded from key housing programs
– How fear and discrimination drive housing instability
– Local policies and community-based models creating real change

Registration for NPH’s 42nd Annual Affordable Housing Conference, taking place virtually on Friday, September 24, is officially open! Early bird registration ends August 13, so secure your tickets sooner than later to take advantage of the discounted rate!

NPH’s Conference is the Bay Area’s largest affordable housing conference! Our virtual and single day conference is designed and planned specifically with you in mind, our fellow Bay Area affordable housing champions.

It’s a unique opportunity to come together to network, share knowledge and tools, and grow alongside each other in our shared expertise and experience. Plus, the whole Conference is done in one day, virtually from the comfort of your home, making attendance convenient and accessible for everyone.

Strengthening our affordable housing movement and industry is more important than ever, as we truly are living in unique times. With our communities emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a rising racial justice reckoning continues to unfold, our conference will appropriately focus on COVID-19 response and recovery, racial equity and justice, and industry innovations. (Specific topics will be revealed when we announce our workshop slate next month, so stay tuned.)
