Join Livable Sunnyvale at an endorsement meeting for a Village Center development at 877 W Fremont. During this meeting, you will hear from the developer, share your concerns and, if you are a member of Livable Sunnyvale and eligible to vote, vote to endorse or not the proposed development.
Background: The Housing Element has outlined seven (7) Village Centers, one of which is the four corners of Mary and Fremont. This development will replace the existing medical offices at 877 W Fremont with a medical building and 114 residential units.
Village Centers are intended to support infill housing opportunities by converting older shopping centers with high vacancy rates into vibrant neighborhood focal points that reduce trips traveled to basic services. The intent is to feature retail and service options within walking and biking distance, as well as a mix of residential units.
Katia Kamangar, the Principal of Kamangar Consulting LLC will present the plans for the development and review our Endorsement Form.

There will be plenty of time for your questions. After the presentation, eligible members will vote to endorse the project or not. If we endorse the project, Livable Sunnyvale will send a letter to the Planning Commission and City Council in support of the project.
