On Friday, September 20th, SV@Home Action Fund Board Member Kathy Tran joined us for our regular Policy In Action (PIA) series. SV@Home Deputy Director Josh Ishimatsu moderated a conversation with Kathy about the November 5th election, and what it means for housing in Silicon Valley. Kathy Tran, who is a professional political organizer with IFPTE Local 21, has extensive political campaign experience, and we were thrilled to have her perspective on important statewide and local races for Silicon Valley housers to pay attention to.
SV@Home’s Policy in Action @ Home series (PIA) is a monthly, informal discussion convening Housers to engage on hot housing topics. Every month, we select a topic or current event, bring in an expert to give a brief presentation or interview, and then open up the discussion to ask questions, float new ideas, and identify potential areas for shared action.
