Last week, SV@Home and partners showed strong support at Cupertino City Council for a proposed 250-home affordable housing development at 10333 N. Wolfe Road, a key opportunity to deliver housing on publicly owned land in a high-opportunity area.
On March 17, SV@Home joined a strong coalition of partners and advocates at Cupertino City Council to support a transformative affordable housing proposal at 10333 N. Wolfe Road. The study session marked an important step in shaping the future of the site, with Councilmembers providing early feedback on a project that has the potential to bring much needed housing to one of the region’s highest opportunity communities. Alongside partners like Catalyze SV and Cupertino for All, we were proud to show up in support of a project that reflects possibility in today’s housing landscape.
Led by Eden Housing in partnership with the County of Santa Clara’s Office of Supportive Housing, the proposed development would bring approximately 250 affordable homes to a 5-acre publicly owned site, backed by Measure A funding. Designed to serve a range of residents (including families, workers, and school employees) the project pairs thoughtful unit design with community centered amenities like open space, a playground, and improved bike and trail connections. Its location (close to jobs, schools, and everyday services) positions it as a model for how affordable housing can expand access to opportunity while supporting broader goals around housing stability and homelessness.
What makes Wolfe Road stand out is not just the number of homes, but the alignment behind it: public land used for public good, strong partnerships across agencies and developers, and meaningful community engagement shaping the outcome. Projects like this do not come together by accident, but rather, they reflect years of coordination, trust-building, and shared commitment. As Cupertino continues to grapple with its housing needs, this effort offers a clear example of what is possible when the right pieces come together. We look forward to seeing this project move ahead, and to building on this momentum with more innovative, community centered housing solutions across the region.
Stay engaged as this project advances and join us in supporting housing solutions that expand opportunity and strengthen our communities.
