1601 Civic Center, Santa Clara

Planned within Santa Clara’s Civic Center area, Charities Housing’s 1601 Civic Center Drive project will bring 112 affordable homes next to City Hall. Supported by Santa Clara County’s Rapid Rehousing Program, half of the units will offer an essential housing option for families that have recently been priced out of the market. The remaining units will be restricted to households earning 30 to 50% of the area median income (AMI).

The project is in the proposed El Camino Real Specific Area Plan that Council is expected to adopt in May 2021. Adoption of the plan will ensure the proposed project aligns with zoning standards.

Join SV@Home to support additional housing capacity with the adoption of the El Camino Real Specific Plan and this opportunity for 112 new affordable homes in Santa Clara!
