Many of our local cities are joining forces right now in a shared nexus study, the wonky and in-depth analysis that assesses the feasibility of local residential development and the potential for developers of market-rate housing to add a share of affordable homes to their buildings.

If cities require too few affordable homes or affordability that’s too shallow, they leave public benefits on the table. Too much, and developers can’t build any housing at all.

Policy and Research Associate

Revathi is the Policy and Research Associate at SV@Home; she supports the team with policy research and analysis of affordable housing programs. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, she gained valuable experience working on affordable housing research projects in India, Thailand, and the Netherlands. Additionally, she has legislative research experience from her time working with a Senator in India. Revathi has studied in India, the Netherlands, and the United States. She holds an MSc. in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University in the Netherlands and completed a certificate program in Affordable Housing and Community Development Finance from San Jose State University. She loves to travel and explore cities and varied landscapes. On a quiet weekend, you can often find her enjoying some quality time playing board games with family and friends.
