Two impactful programs are now accepting applications to strengthen the future of affordable housing in California. The CCRH Internship Program supports students and emerging professionals entering the field, while HAC’s Developer Pathway Program provides technical assistance and advocacy support to scaling developers working on active housing projects.
Two exciting opportunities to grow within the affordable housing field are now accepting applications! The California Coalition for Rural Housing (CCRH) Internship Program and Housing Action Coalition’s (HAC) Developer Pathway Program are both designed to strengthen the housing ecosystem — one by preparing the next generation of housing professionals, and the other by supporting emerging developers working to move real housing projects forward. Whether you are looking to enter the field or expand your development capacity, these programs offer meaningful pathways to deepen your impact.
CCRH Internship Program — Launch Your Career in Affordable Housing
The CCRH Internship Program is a one year, paid internship that places participants with nonprofit housing developers to gain hands-on experience in affordable housing. Interns work alongside experienced teams on active projects, building technical skills while receiving mentorship and professional development support.

Deadline to apply: Priority deadline March 27, 2026 (rolling consideration after).
HAC Developer Pathway Program — Technical Support for Emerging Developers
Housing Action Coalition’s Developer Pathway Program is a one-year technical assistance and leadership program designed to help early-stage and scaling developers move housing projects forward. Participants receive structured project feedback, guidance on pro formas and capital stacks, support navigating public processes, and connections to HAC’s statewide housing network.
Who it’s for: Early-stage or scaling developers, particularly BIPOC- and women-led teams, working on active housing projects in the Bay Area or Sacramento region.
Deadline to apply: February 26, 2026.
We at SV@Home would like to thank CCRH and HAC for investing in the future of the housing field and creating meaningful pathways for both emerging professionals and growing developers. If you are interested in building a career in affordable housing or advancing your development work, we encourage you to apply and share these opportunities with others.
Applications are open now, we encourage students, emerging professionals, and early-stage developers to review the program details and apply before the upcoming deadlines!
