In celebration of Affordable Housing and National Small Business Month, please join us for an exciting, educational networking event focused on Assembly Bill 2873, which promotes diversity within affordable housing suppliers.

This event hopes to bring a deeper understanding of the spirit of AB 2873 across the industry. The summit is an opportunity to create connectivity within a talented pool of diverse suppliers, including minority, women, LGBTQIA+, and disabled veteran business enterprises looking for contracting opportunities.

What It’s All About Hosted by Swinerton, this in-person event offers an exciting, educational networking opportunity focused on Assembly Bill 2873, which promotes diversity within affordable housing suppliers. We hope to bring a deeper understanding of the spirit of AB 2873 across the industry while uniting affordable housing developers, general contractors, architects, affinity groups, advocates, and diverse suppliers looking for contracting opportunities in the affordable housing space.

What’s AB 2873?
Approved by Governor Gavin Newsom on September 13, 2022, AB 2873 requires housing sponsors to submit an annual report (referred to as the Housing Supplier Diversity Annual Report) to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) outlining, among other things, a detailed and verifiable supplier and contractor plan for increasing procurement from diverse suppliers (women-owned, minority-owned, disabled veteran-owned and/or LGBT-owned business enterprises) as well as short- and long-term diversity goals and timetables.
