Beyond COVID-19: Committing to an Equitable Recovery

Affordable Housing Month

This event is hosted by Law Foundation of Silicon Valley as part of Affordable Housing Month 2021.

From our health, homes, and our entire community’s economic stability — the COVID-19 pandemic has put us all at risk, especially low-income families and people of color. Now, as vaccines roll out and activities resume, how can we ensure everyone is provided stability in a changed society and economy?

For SV@Home’s Affordable Housing Month, the Law Foundation is hosting a critical conversation about how we place equity at the center of our community’s actions and decisions around COVID-19 recovery.

Speakers:
Moderator: Nuemi Guzman, Community Housing Advocate Supervisor, Law Foundation

Panelists:
Lauren Carden, Supervising Attorney, Housing, Law Foundation
Health – Dr. Baraka Floyd
Economic – Paulina Gonzalez-Brito, Executive Director, California Reinvestment Coalition
