Like most of us, you are probably feeling the impacts of California’s growing housing crisis. And like us, you want to make sure that the housing built in your local neighborhood is affordable, inclusive, and accessible to all – including Californians with disabilities.

Did you know that the State of California created a new unit within the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) that will help enforce state housing laws and regulations? Join us for Affordable Housing Month and connect with HCD’s new Housing Accountability Unit on Tuesday, May 10th from 12:30-2PM PM. You will learn more about how YOU can help hold your local jurisdiction accountable for inclusive, affordable, and accessible housing!

ASL & Closed Captioning will be provided. Save your seat and let us know if you need any other accommodations or translations below. If you have any questions, please email allie@thekelsey.org.

Co-hosts: Disability Rights California (DRC), Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund (DREDF), Justice in Aging, The Kelsey, SV@Home, Housing Choices, California Foundation of Independent Living Centers (CFILC) DOnetworkTime
