On April 16th, the Campbell City Council will hold a study session to establish goals for the General Plan Update process that is currently underway. The update process began in 2015 and the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) had made significant progress before the process was halted in July 2018. The GPAC has expressed needing more specific goals from Council to allow the process to move forward. While this is just a study session, the Council will be discussing goals for every element of the General Plan, most notably the Land Use Element. The Land Use element serves as an important opportunity for the City to plan for adequate housing for not only the current RHNA cycle, but for upcoming cycles.

The City of Campbell’s General Plan Website contains more details about the General Plan Update process to date.
