On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, the City of Milpitas will be hosting a public meeting to present the details of its Affordable Housing Nexus Study. The City is in the process of revising its affordable housing policies. As part of that process, the City has prepared an Affordable Housing Nexus Study. The Affordable Housing Nexus Study analyzes and determines the maximum fee that may be charged to mitigate the affordable housing impacts of new residential and non-residential development. Any fees collected would then be used to fund future affordable housing projects.
