CoHo Presents: Diversity and the Workplace

Affordable Housing Month

Diverse workplaces are linked to stronger engagement, lower turnover, greater productivity, and more robust innovation. But what happens when we – as individuals, companies, and communities – choose not to invest in inclusive and equitable work environments? How might we shape better work cultures that celebrate diverse life experiences, to reflect the communities we serve and house?
On Friday, May 20 from 12 to 1:15pm PT, Macy Leung, Senior Project Manager at Allied Housing / Abode Services, and Steven Yang, Director of Multifamily Lending & DEI Lead at Housing Trust Silicon Valley, will be in conversation with:

  • Illyasha Peete, Consultant at IDEAL
  • Lillian Lew-Hailer, Regional Vice President of Operations at Mercy Housing
  • Miriam Benavides, Vice President of Human Resources & Risk Management

… and you! After a presentation and discussion, our moderator and panelists will open the virtual floor to audience members. This portion of the event will not be recorded, and attendees may choose to remain anonymous. Live transcription will be available throughout, and live translation (Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese) upon request.

We hope you’ll join us for a timely, important, and insightful conversation.
