Terner Labs and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development are hosting the third event in the Housing Technology Series: Equitable Homeownership Innovations. Join us to investigate how technology is affecting homeownership and specifically, how it is addressing wealth justice and historical inequities in the present housing market.
The 90-minute event will be split into two parts:
Credit & underwriting
- Innovator showcases: Innovations in credit repair
Panel conversation: Fairness in underwriting
Alternative paths to homeownership
- Innovator showcases: Financing and rehabbing older homes
- Panel conversations: The pitfalls and possibilities of non-traditional homeownership models
More on the Housing Technology Series: Announced by HUD Secretary, Marcia L. Fudge at the Innovative Housing Showcase last June, this series convenes public sector leaders, housing experts, technologists, entrepreneurs, practitioners, and more to spotlight technological innovations propelling the housing sector forward, emphasizing the creation of strong, sustainable, and inclusive communities and quality affordable homes. The series also provides an opportunity to identify and address challenges related to the use of new technologies in the housing sector and strengthen collaboration between public and private sectors to bolster progress and reduce risks.
