Interactive Town Hall on the Proposed Regional Housing Funding Bond Measure with special guest Kate Hartley, Bay Area Regional Housing Finance Authority Director.
This is your second opportunity to learn about the proposed 2024 BAHFA ballot measure from Director Hartley and an opportunity to provide your insights and analysis.
During our November board meeting, the League of Women Voters Bay Area will decide whether to take a preliminary step regarding BAHFA, the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority’s housing bond measure. The LWVBA board plans to closely follow the work of various MTC/ABAG committees over the next few months. The first meetings begin in January with details on BAHFA’s full Business and Expenditure Plans and the Resolution to place the bond on county ballots.
Additional educational forums with opportunities for your input are planned for early 2024 prior to any final decision to support the ballot measure. More information is available on the BAHFA website here. If you missed the LWVBA’s first Regional Conversation on BAHFA, it is posted on the LWVBA website and our YouTube channel. Throughout this process, Send questions/comments to LWVBA Director Roma Dawson, firstname.lastname@example.org
