Join us for a learning session about San José’s Rent Stabilization Program and possible updates to the city’s rules on how utilities are billed in rental housing (known as Ratio Utility Billing Services, or RUBS).

We’ll break down:

This session will focus on the financial challenges faced by those supporting adults with I/DD when planning for long-term housing stability. Topics will include leveraging SSI, Section 8, and other benefits, using special needs trusts and ABLE accounts, and funding housing without jeopardizing benefits. Success stories will highlight sustainable housing planning, and LSA’s Executive Director will share insights on funding streams and financial resources. This webinar will provide valuable knowledge to help anyone supporting an individual with I/DD make informed, sustainable decisions for their loved one’s housing and financial security.
