In November 2016, the voters of Santa Clara County approved Measure A, a ballot measure authorizing the issuance of $950 million in general obligation bonds for developing affordable housing. The Board of Supervisors has established the Measure A (2016 Housing Bond) Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee for oversight and review of the spending of bond proceeds and related purposes, and the Committee’s second meeting will take place on September 7, 2017.
All of the Measure A Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee meetings are open to the public.
