The San Jose City Council will review and discuss the City’s framework for the implementation of Urban Village Plans. As you may remember, City staff presented a memo to the City Council in June that laid out a plan for financing Urban Village infrastructure. Little development has moved forward in Urban Villages awaiting the completion of this financing plan.
SV@Home prepared a memo that raised a number of questions and expressed concern about the amount of outreach that had been conducted. The staff has since revised its proposal and is holding an outreach meeting to provide the development community the opportunity to provide comment prior to City Council action. It is critical that the financing plan framework be completed so that development can proceed in Urban Villages.
