City Council directed staff earlier this year to conduct research on the effects of re-control provisions within the Ellis Act Ordinance. The Housing and Community Development Commission will be discussing the Housing Department’s recently released memorandum on the topic to provide feedback and recommendations. This commission meeting will be followed by a community meeting on August 29th, with the item scheduled to go to council tentatively on September 24th.
