The City of San José Housing Department hosted a community meeting from 6:00 to 7:30, on January 31st, at Roosevelt Community Center, to help develop the City’s Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan, which identified projects and services funded through the following federal programs:  Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG); HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME); and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).  The Department has identified affordable housing, homelessness, strong neighborhoods, and fair housing as priorities and is collecting feedback on potential projects and services.

There will also be an opportunity for public comment when the proposed Annual Action Plan comes before the Housing and Community Development Commission at 5:45, on February 14th, in the Wing Room at City Hall.
