Presented in Partnership with Gallagher

The current housing insurance crisis is threatening the future of affordable housing development across California. Limited availability of insurance carriers, steep increases in premiums and deductibles, and reductions in the quality of coverage are leaving many nonprofit housing providers to question the economic viability of the much-needed projects to house our state’s most financially vulnerable.

As a follow-up to last October’s workshop on navigating the current challenges in the insurance marketplace, SCANPH is presenting a second workshop with Gallagher to address some of these issues. This session will focus on ideas and frameworks to help developers decrease costs and improve access. In addition, half of this 90-minute session will be devoted to audience Q & A period, allowing for a deeper dive into the exact questions many developers and managers want answers to. Please join us on Thursday, March 28th at 1 pm.
