Happy Housers Event This September

Happy Housers, A Quarterly Happy Hour Event

TICKETS NOW 50% OFF! Join us at Dr. Funk in Downtown San Jose.

Join us for a special Happy Housers Happy Hour, sponsored in partnership with our friends at Equity Forward Anchor Network (EFAN)!

You’re in for a good conversation over drinks with people who care about creating a more inclusive Silicon Valley. It’s a chance to swap ideas, make new connections, and talk about how local campuses, churches, and community institutions could help open doors for more housing.

Come curious, leave connected.

Whether you’re deep in the housing world or just curious about what’s possible, this is your space to meet new people, share ideas, and be inspired.

Drink ticket and light appetizers included with ticket purchase.

Skyrocketing prices and a limited supply of homes are two of the biggest drivers that have pushed residents away from cities and further into the rural transition zones between human development and unoccupied land known as the wildland-urban interface or WUI. The natural vegetation of these areas, especially in combination with drought and inattentive land management, creates a tinderbox that can lead to catastrophic wildfires in places like the Western United States, Australia and elsewhere. What policies can be implemented to protect the tens of millions of homes that are at risk and minimize the impact of wildfire disasters?
