Learn how Bay Area cities are tackling housing discrimination through fair housing policies, and how to hold them accountable.

In collaboration with SV@Home, East Bay Housing Organizations, Housing Leadership Council, Generation Housing, SFCCHO, and Housing Santa Cruz County join us for “Who Gets to Live Here? Fair Housing & the Bay’s Future” an an educational event focused on Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) policies, exploring local examples of historical housing discrimination and the measures included in jurisdictions’ Housing Elements to remedy exclusionary practices.

The event aims to help cities understand their fair housing obligations while equipping advocates with the tools needed to hold cities accountable for delivering on their Housing Element commitments. It also prepares attendees for the upcoming annual review process, ensuring stakeholders are informed and ready to engage.

This event is a part of Affordable Housing Month 2026.
