At the same time, teachers and staff face grueling commutes from far-away cities, while districts struggle to hire and keep the talent our kids deserve.

Join us for an inside look at SV@Home’s exclusive research on Silicon Valley’s enrollment crisis—and discover how affordable housing can keep families in our neighborhoods and strengthen schools across our region.

A Message from our Board Chair, Kevin Zwick:

Dear Housers,

I have some exciting news to share!

On behalf of the SV@Home Board of Directors, I am delighted to announce that Regina Celestin Williams will be the next Executive Director of Silicon Valley at Home. Please see the official Press Release on SV@Home’s website.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Regina to the SV@Home family. Regina’s record of accomplishment, her expertise in affordable housing, and her commitment to centering the work of creating sustainable communities around the experiences and needs of those who have been the most marginalized in Santa Clara County have established her as a Silicon Valley housing champion. We couldn’t be more excited for her to lead SV@Home into the future.

Regina has spent her entire career working towards housing and economic justice through affordable housing and community development. She has most recently served as Director of Housing Development at First Community Housing, a leading San José-based affordable housing developer. Originally from Richmond, Regina has called San José home for many years after a significant stint working on housing and community development issues on the East Coast.

Regina is looking forward to starting in her new role on November 15th and, while she is already a familiar face in affordable housing circles, I know she is looking forward to meeting you all in her new capacity.

As you know, the last several months have been a time of transition at SV@Home, with the well-earned departure of our founding Executive Director Leslye Corsiglia. Despite these changes, the SV@Home team has been hard at work continuing to fulfill the organization’s mission of building a Silicon Valley where everyone has access to a safe, stable, affordable home.

Stay tuned for more details from the SV@Home team about opportunities to meet Regina and learn about her priorities for the future of SV@Home. We can’t wait for SV@Home’s next chapter to be written.

Thank you all for your ongoing support for SV@Home’s mission and work.

Sincerely,

Signature

Kevin Zwick, SV@Home Board Chair and CEO of United Way Bay Area
