Prohousing Voices Needed: Take the San Antonio Road Area Plan Survey

Share:

Palo Alto is reimagining the San Antonio Road corridor as a housing-rich, walkable district through a multi-year planning effort that could bring more than 1,500 new homes by 2028. Take the City’s survey by October 31 to make sure housing and equity remain central to the plan’s vision.

Palo Alto is launching the San Antonio Road Area Plan, a bold, multi-year effort to reimagine 275 acres between Alma Street and Highway 101 as a vibrant neighborhood that puts housing and sustainability at the center of its future. Building on recent citywide planning efforts, the Area Plan will shape new policies around land use, transportation, and economic development—with the potential to add more than 1,500 new homes and transform a largely industrial corridor into a walkable, mixed-use community.

The City is seeking your input to help define the plan’s vision, goals, and priorities. Prohousing voices are encouraged to take the survey by October 31 to ensure housing opportunities remain front and center in this pivotal planning effort.
