Happy Housers Event This September

Happy Housers, A Quarterly Happy Hour Event

TICKETS NOW 50% OFF! Join us at Dr. Funk in Downtown San Jose.

Join us for a special Happy Housers Happy Hour, sponsored in partnership with our friends at Equity Forward Anchor Network (EFAN)!

You’re in for a good conversation over drinks with people who care about creating a more inclusive Silicon Valley. It’s a chance to swap ideas, make new connections, and talk about how local campuses, churches, and community institutions could help open doors for more housing.

Come curious, leave connected.

Whether you’re deep in the housing world or just curious about what’s possible, this is your space to meet new people, share ideas, and be inspired.

Drink ticket and light appetizers included with ticket purchase.

How can planners, advocates, public officials and urbanists advance the cause of racial justice?

Albus Brooks defeated 38 opponents to be elected to Denver City Council in 2011. Albus fought for Denver’s first and largest affordable housing support fund, championed universal preschool, and led the effort to decriminalize marijuana for 18-21 year olds as a way to make Denver a more equitable city. Currently Albus serves as the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Milender White, a development company focused on Southern California and Colorado.

This is part of our “Making Urbanism Antiracist” speaker series; an ongoing conversation on how housing and transit activists must advance racial equity.

Cohosted by YIMBY Action, YIMBY Law, and YIMBY Denver.
