The City of San José has opened a $50 million funding opportunity to support new affordable housing projects, with applications due by July 10 and funding awarded on a rolling basis.

The City of San José has launched a new $50 million funding opportunity through its Gap Financing Program to support the development of new affordable housing. This Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to streamline funding processes and align with state and regional practices. Applications for this round are due by July 10, with application reviews and clarification requests issued by July 24, and funding recommendations published on August 1.
