Join us for a timely conversation on how we can break down these barriers and advance housing solutions that include everyone—regardless of immigration status.

We’ll explore:

– How fear and discrimination drive housing instability
– Local policies and community-based models creating real change

Help create San Jose’s Anti-Displacement strategy! The City of San José is developing a city-wide Anti-Displacement Strategy that will be presented to the San José City Council in Fall 2019. This workshop will provide an overview of the issue of displacement in San José and an update on the feedback heard from the community thus far. The workshop will also include the opportunity for participants to learn about national best practices to address displacement, and recommend and help prioritize the next generation of Anti-Displacement tools in San José. Bring a cell phone to text your answers to polling questions (no smart phone required).
