Many of our local cities are joining forces right now in a shared nexus study, the wonky and in-depth analysis that assesses the feasibility of local residential development and the potential for developers of market-rate housing to add a share of affordable homes to their buildings.

If cities require too few affordable homes or affordability that’s too shallow, they leave public benefits on the table. Too much, and developers can’t build any housing at all.

EAH Housing is holding a series of community forums throughout the summer of 2021. These forums will be designed to build on the first two forums hosted by the City of Los Altos and the County of Santa Clara. For the three following forums, we welcome input and answer questions from the community regarding the Distel Circle design and development program.

  • Forum #3: August 12, 2021 – Introduction to EAH Housing and the Distel Circle development
  • Forum #4: September 9, 2021 – Design and Visioning 
  • Forum #5: September 30, 2021 (Tentatively) – Live Open House: The community will have a chance to meet the EAH and KTGY teams and ask one-on-one questions.
