As the housing and health care sectors come together to forge partnerships, it is important to understand how both sectors contributed to the inequities that led to significant racial disparities in health outcomes in the United States. During this webinar, participants will learn how to center equity in their health and housing partnerships to support their response to and eventual recovery from Covid-19, recognizing the disproportionate impact the pandemic is having on communities of color.

Our keynote speaker is Dr. Tiffany Manuel, best-selling author and president/CEO of TheCaseMade. DrT, as she prefers to be called, will talk about the historic and existing inequities in the way we treat health as well as the opportunities, practices and tools that can be used respond and recover from Covid-19.

After the convening, participants will:
• Have an improved understanding of the aspects of the health and housing systems that create inequitable outcomes
• Identify opportunities for health and housing partnerships to reduce health disparities
• Identify equity-focused strategies that can be used when forming effective health and housing partnerships

This convening will be interactive with chat, break out groups, and shared screen. We encourage you to join on a device that will allow you to utilize these Zoom functions.
This convening is the first in a series of Health Begins with Home convenings sponsored by Citi and Enterprise Community Partners.
