San Jose City Council will be determining the scope of the General Plan Four-Year Review during its regular council meeting on Tuesday June 11. The Four-Year Review process is critical to ensuring that the city has adequate capacity for new housing opportunities in high growth areas, including Urban Villages and the Downtown/Diridon Station Area and transit focused Urban Villages, and has the land use and planning tools it needs to facilitate increased affordable housing development.  Staff’s recommendations can be found on the Council Agenda here.  SV@Home has submitted a letter with additional priorities available <LINK TO LETTER HERE>.

San Jose City Council meetings begin at 1:30 in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 200 East Santa Clara Street, San Jose.  The General Plan Four-Year Review is Item 4.2 on the agenda, and will likely be heard later in the afternoon.
