State Policies To Unlock Resources for Permanent Supportive Housing: Upcoming Webinars The Terner Center is hosting a pair of webinars focused on opportunities to strengthen supportive services provided to people exiting homelessness. Permanent supportive housing has been proven to help people end chronic patterns of homelessness. However, more resources are required to ensure that residents receive the level of services they need and that properties remain viable in the long run. These two webinars will focus on recent state policies that could unlock more resources for permanent supportive housing.
Leveraging CalAIM in Permanent Supportive Housing (Webinar 2)
Tues, April 22, 10:00 – 11:00am PT California’s CalAIM initiative allows housing providers to use Medi-Cal funding to cover housing and supportive services for people experiencing homelessness. This webinar will provide an overview of challenges permanent supportive housing providers face in integrating CalAIM funding, as well as highlight models and partnerships that are successfully leveraging CalAIM to improve outcomes for residents.
