What’s Palo Alto Doing to Address the Housing Crisis?

Affordable Housing Week

Hosted by Palo Alto Forward, SV@Home, SPUR, and League of Women Voters of Palo Alto

In February 2018, Palo Alto’s city council adopted a Housing Work Plan to address the housing affordability crisis. Since then, the council has adopted a set of zoning changes to allow more housing in mixed-use commercial districts and to incentivize the creation of additional in-law units. As part of Affordable Housing Week, join us to learn more about these efforts and the changes expected later this year to generate critical “missing middle” homes.

Featuring:

+ Liz Kniss / Palo Alto City Council
+ Jonathan Lait / City of Palo Alto Planning Director
+ Tod Spieker / Windy Hill Property Ventures
+ Randy Tsuda / Palo Alto Housing

Time: May 9th, 2019. 6-8pm

Location: Morrison & Foerster Conference Center, 755 Page Mill Road.

Free for the public. All are welcome!
