Morgan Hill City Council Approves Inclusionary Housing Ordinance

On July 18th, the Morgan Hill City Council took action to approve an Inclusionary Housing Ordinance that requires that all residential development in downtown include 10% affordability and residential development throughout the rest of the city include 15% affordability.

San Jose Considers Housing Bond for November Election

On Tuesday, August 7th, the San Jose City Council will return from its July Recess to consider placing a $950 million bond on the November 2018 ballot that would include at least $250 million for affordable housing in addition to funding for public safety and other infrastructure needs.

Santa Clara City Council Approves 355 New Homes

On Tuesday July 17th, the City of Santa Clara voted unanimously to approve 355 new homes in the downtown area.

Santa Clara County Approves Sales Tax Measure for November Ballot

On July 3rd, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors voted to add a measure on the November 6th ballot that would extend the current 1/8 of one cent sales tax originally approved in 2013.
