This session explores the groundbreaking partnership between the San Jose Conservation Corps (SJCC) and the Bill Wilson Center to address housing instability among transitional-aged youth (TAY). By utilizing Portable Dwelling Units (PDUs) in residential backyards, this pilot program creates immediate, scalable housing solutions while fostering community integration. Panelists will discuss the clinical, logistical, and policy-driven aspects of making PDUs a viable tool in the Silicon Valley housing toolkit.
