The Santa Clara County Housing Authority will share how recent federal policy changes and funding uncertainty are affecting affordable housing at the local, state, and federal levels. From potential shifts in federal funding to HUD’s proposed rule changes, Housing Authority staff will discuss the local implications for affordable housing residents and for the development and preservation of affordable housing in our community, including programs such as project-based vouchers. The discussion will also highlight the Housing Authority’s newly adopted Strategic Plan, which will guide its work over the next five years and help shape how the agency partners with communities to address housing needs throughout Santa Clara County.
This event is a part of Affordable Housing Month 2026.
