Whether you bike every day or once every couple of months – to work, to school, to the farmer’s market, to the library – you’re invited to join thousands in celebration of the humble bicycle. May is Bike Month, and you, your friends, and your family are welcome to ride with us on May 18, 19 and 20 for Bike to Wherever Days. Will you pledge to ride?

When you pledge to ride, you can get a free Bike to Wherever Days 2023 tote bag on the days of the event (if you get to a station before they run out) and you will be entered into a random drawing for prizes as well. You’ll also be kept in the loop about Energizer Stations in your neighborhood and SVBC’s Bike Bash celebration taking place in your county!

Riders at any skill and age are welcome. Just by biking, you’ll be helping SVBC on its mission to build healthier and more just communities. We want as many people as possible to take the pledge and to ride. Whether you’re pledging to bicycle to work, run a quick errand, or take a trip to wherever on just one day or every day of month – every bike makes a difference. Getting friends and family to pledge as well will maximize both your impact and the amount of fun we can all have together!

To Pledge to Ride and get your FREE Bike to Wherever Day Bag as well as win prizes:

1) Complete this Pledge to Ride registration (Pledging is free, donations are optional but welcome!). The deadline is by end of day May 20!

2) On Thursday May 18, Friday May 19, or Saturday May 20:

  • Bike to the Energizer Station located by the SV@Home office (exact location shown in the map below)
  • Show your Eventbrite ticket on your phone or on paper
  • Pickup your FREE BTWD Bag and other goodies!

Note that bag quantities are limited and some Energizer Stations may run out, so get on your bike early. For a picture of the bag this year, scroll to the bottom of this page.

Map of Energizer Stations will be posted by May 5th, 2023

A list of Energizer Stations will be posted at by May 5 (ignore the event address on your Eventbrite ticket, stations will be located all over San Mateo and Santa Clara counties). Some locations like bike shops and libraries may allow pickup over the course of several days from May 18th onward.

(Psst… Are you a member of a local organization? Click here to learn more about hosting an energizer station of your own!)
