Sizzling Book Signing and Cooking Demonstration by Red Hot Chef-Author-Activist Bryant Terry Headlines SV@Home Affordable Housing Month Event

One of the hottest vegan chefs in the nation will sign 50 of his sizzling cookbooks during an in-person and virtual cooking demonstration live in San Jose this Thursday night as part of SV@Home’s Affordable Housing Month 2022 series of events.

Last week, San Francisco-based Chef Bryant Terry had two of his latest cookbooks nominated for the prestigious James Beard 2022 Media Awards, highlighting the best food writing and production pieces across books, news sites, and broadcasts. Fifty free copies of Black Food: Stories, Art, and Recipes from Across the African Diaspora will be available for the chef to sign after the event and our attendees to take home!

Terry lights a fire for community activism by first getting people to eat healthier. Don’t be surprised if his cooking demonstration pivots toward social justice issues because we have invited the chef to ignite the passion of Affordable Housing advocates at this extraordinary AHM 2022 event.

The fun begins at 6 p.m. at 450 W. Santa Clara St., San Jose, CA 95113.
